DURHAM, N.C. – After helping Duke to a pair of five-set wins to close out the regular season, graduate student Andie Shelton earned her second ACC Player of the Week honor as announced by the conference Monday.

Shelton had at least 12 kills, seven digs and five blocks in both Blue Devil victories, all while hitting a combined .377. After a 12-kill, 27-assists, seven-dig performance in Duke’s win over Notre Dame Wednesday, Shelton picked up her sixth triple-double of the season Friday versus Miami. The Stockton, Calif., contributed 17 kills, 27 assists and 11 digs in the regular season finale to become the only NCAA Division I player with six triple-doubles this season.

With the recognition, Shelton becomes the first Blue Devil to garner multiple ACC Player of the Week honors in the same season since outside hitter Emily Sklar in 2013. Shelton won her first player of the week citation September 3.

After securing an at-large bid to the 2018 NCAA Tournament, Duke takes on Loyola Marymount in the first round at 7:30 p.m. (ET) Friday, Nov. 30 in Stanford, Calif.
