As a Team    
•    Duke improved to 33-4 on the season with the win, marking the sixth time Duke has reached 33 wins in a season under Mike Krzyzewski.
•    Duke moved to 49-9 (.845) when playing in the NCAA Tournament as a one seed and 103-34 (.752) overall in the NCAA Tournament.
•    Duke used the starting lineup of Quinn Cook, Tyus Jones, Justise Winslow, Matt Jones and Jahlil Okafor for the 12th time this season and own an 10-2 record with those five players on the floor to start the game.
•    Duke moved to 6-4 (.600) while playing in the state of Texas during NCAA Tournament play.
•    Duke advanced to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament for the 16th time in program history and the 12th time under Coach Krzyzewski.

Coach Krzyzewski’s Numbers
•    The victory moved Coach Krzyzewski’s all-time record to 1,016-310 and his record at Duke to 943-251.
•    Coach Krzyzewski’s career record while in the NCAA Tournament moved to 86-26 (.768), the second-best winning percentage in NCAA Tournament history.
•    Coach Krzyzewski moved into a tie with John Wooden for the most NCAA Final Four appearances, with 12.

Cook on Duke’s All-Time Charts
•    Quinn Cook scored double-digit points for the 33rd game this season after recording 10 points on 2-of-10 (.200) shooting from the field. Cook remained in 29th on Duke’s all-time scorers list, with a career 1,548 points.
•    With one assist, Cook tied with Steve Wojciechowski for eighth on Duke’s career assists list, with 505.

On the Offensive End
•    Duke led at half for the 31st time this season.
•    Duke shot 21-of-56 (.375) from the field. The Blue Devils are shooting a combined 105-of-210 (.500) from the floor in NCAA Tournament games this season.
•    Duke’s 31 points at halftime were the second fewest scored in the opening half by the Blue Devils in the NCAA Tournament this year.
•    Duke failed to shoot over 40.0 percent from the field for the first time in the NCAA Tournament this season.
•    Duke shot over 80.0 percent from the free throw line for the second NCAA Tournament game this season and the ninth time this season.
•    Duke was outscored in the paint by Gonzaga, 40-24.
•    Duke was outrebounded by its opponent for just the seventh time this season, but improved to 7-0 when collecting fewer boards than its opponent.

Duke’s Defense
•    Gonzaga committed 13 turnovers, marking the 31st game this season Duke forced 10 or more miscues.
•    Duke allowed Gonzaga to shoot just 2-of-10 (.200) from beyond the arc, the third straight game a Duke opponent scored fewer than five three pointers.
•    Duke scored 17 points off of Gonzaga turnovers.

Fresh Faces
•    Justise Winslow scored 16 points on 4-of-12 (.333) shooting from the floor, tying Matt Jones for the leading scorer in the contest. A freshman has led Duke in scoring 27 times this season, with Winslow serving as the leading scorer in five of those games.
•    Tyus Jones was named the South Regional All-Tournament Team Most Outstanding Player.
•    Duke placed two freshmen on the South Regional All-Tournament Team, with Justise Winslow and Tyus Jones earning recoginition for their performances.
