  • Three-time letterwinner in basketball at Christ School in Arden, N.C. .. played for head coach David Gaines
  • Led the team to three state championships and a 99-8 record over the last three years
  • 2009 McDonald’s All-American ... had six points, four rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots and one steal for the West squad in a 113-110 loss in the McDonald’s All-American game ... finished second in the dunk contest at the McDonald’s All-American Powerade Jam Fest
  • 2009 Jordan Brand All-American ... scored 11 points and added seven rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot in a 110-103 loss in the 2009 Jordan Brand Classic

  • Grandfather, Albert Schultz, played basketball at Michigan Tech (1944) ... he also played on the U.S. Air Force Service Team in 1945
  • Uncle, William Schultz, played basketball at Wisconsin-Eau Claire ... 1972 NAIA National Runner-up
  • Uncle, Chad Schultz, played basketball at Wisconsin-Oshkosh
  • Joins older brother, Miles, on the team this season ... the pair becomes the 10th brother tandem to play at Duke ... the Plumlees are just the sixth pair of brothers to play at the same time
  • Played AAU basketball with Indiana Elite One and Blessed IJN ... helped Indiana Elite to 2008 championships at the Pittsburgh Jam Fest and Adidas May Classic ... named MVP of both events
