What is Next?...
Duke will have the weekend off before returning home to host Miami Thursday, Jan. 17 for a 7 p.m., contest live on ACC Network Extra.

Three Keys...
• The Blue Devils faced back-to-back top 10 and undefeated teams to open ACC play for the first time in program history. It marked the first time since the 1990-91 season that the Blue Devils took on back-to-back top 10 teams to open ACC play (No. 1 Virginia and No. 3 NC State).
• Duke will look to try to avoid opening ACC play 0-3 for the first time since the 1992-93 campaign, which was Gail Goestenkors first season with the Blue Devils. That 1992-93 team opened ACC play 0-9.
• Following the Georgia Tech contest, Duke will return home where the Blue Devils will host three out of the next four games against Miami, Wake Forest and Syracuse.

Storylines/Other Blue Devil Notes...
• In two ACC games, Haley Gorecki is averaging 17.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.0 assists.
Onome Akinbode-James owns a 5.5 rebounds per game average in 14 contests. Only 10 Blue Devil rookies have averaged more than 5.6 rebounds a game during their freshman campaign.
• Over the last two games, Duke has averaged 11.0 steals a game and now ranks fifth in the ACC with a 9.6 per game average.
• In six games in 2018-19, Mikayla Boykin has already scored more points (61) than she did in 10 contests a year (46) ago before being injured.
• The Blue Devils have dished only five assists over the last two games and hit 8-of-35 three-pointers.
• Duke has held Wisconsin (53), Marist (56), UNLV (38), FGCU (41) and NC State (63) to season low points.
• In the ECU contest, Haley Gorecki and Miela Goodchild combined to score 45 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and five steals. Gorecki notched a season-high 26 points, while Goodchild added a career-high 19 points.
• Duke’s Haley Gorecki and Syracuse’s Tiana Mangakahia are the only two players in the ACC to have both a 10+ rebound and 10+ assist contest this season.
• The Blue Devils scored a season-high 83 points versus East Carolina.
• Duke will feature a little over a two inch height advantage when the Blue Devils and Yellow Jackets hit the hardwood Thursday. Georgia Tech features a 71.71 average height with eight players standing 6-0 or taller. Duke owns a 73.25 average height with nine players 6-0 or taller.
• Redshirt junior Haley Gorecki and freshman Miela Goodchild have combined to drain 52 three-pointers on the season.

The Blue Devils lost 43.7 points and 60.3 percent of scoring. It is the most since the 2013-14 season, which Duke lost 66.9 percent of its scoring.
• Duke graduated two of the best scorer’s in Blue Devil history – Rebecca Greenwell (1,874 points) and Lexie Brown (1,263 points in two years). They were one of the most dynamic scoring duos in the nation the last two years and Duke will have a much different look in 2018-19 without those guards.
