DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women’s basketball sophomore guard Jayda Adams suffered a left knee injury in offseason workouts and is scheduled to have surgery to address an ACL tear May 9.
Adams is coming off seeing action in 30 contests, while making two starts this past season. She averaged 3.1 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists. Adams, who hails from Irvine, Calif., drained 21 three-pointers and a 36.8 percentage.
Over two seasons, Adams has played in 63 contests and sank 32 three-pointers.
