DURHAM, N.C. – Rising sophomores Chris Dutra and Coleman Williams earned sports on their respective summer league all-star games. A catcher with the Westhampton Aviators, Dutra was tabbed to the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game while Williams, a pitcher with the Alpharetta Braves, was named to the Sunbelt League All-Star Game.
In 21 games with Westhampton this summer, Dutra owns a .344 (21-for-61) batting average with two doubles and four home runs. The New Rochelle, N.Y., native has also totaled 16 RBI and 15 runs to help the Aviators to a league-best 20-9 record.
Williams has taken the mound a team-high eight times for Alpharetta, compiling a 6.43 ERA out of the bullpen while limiting opponents to a .185 batting average.
