DURHAM, N.C. – The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) released its latest coaches poll Friday with the Duke women’s golf program remaining No. 3 overall.

Taking the top slot was Southern California with 13 first place votes, while Texas (7), Duke, Stanford, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Florida, Arkansas, Southern California and Arizona rounding out the top 10.

The Blue Devils have placed second and fourth in their first two tournaments of the spring at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate and the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate. Duke dealt with sickness and injury in the latest tournament to manage a fourth place ledger. The Blue Devils had closed the fall campaign with back-to-back wins at the Tar Heel Invitational and the Landfall Tradition.

In the latest Golfweek Individual listings, Jaravee Boonchant is No. 6, while Virginia Elena Carta (30), Gina Kim (32) and Ana Belac (33) are ranked in the top 35 nationally.

Duke will next compete in the Evans Derby Experience March 23-25 in Auburn, Ala.
