Favorite Moment At Duke So Far?
I think my favorite moment is when we all passed the run test. It was a total team effort and we were all so invested in helping each other pass. It felt like a scene out of a movie. A close second is any time we travel in a pack on our scooters.

What’s One Part Of Your Game That You Feel You’ve Improved The Most This Fall?
I’ve worked really hard on having good timing. Timing is a lot harder than it sounds so I’ve adjusted my swing a little bit to help my consistency of staying on time.

Describe What It Was Like To Be A Part Of The Program’s Inaugural Game On Sept. 30.
Our inaugural game was an exciting experience to be a part of. It was awesome to see how much support we had from the Duke community. The atmosphere was so much fun to play in and it made me look forward to our spring season even more.

What’s One Personal Goal You Have Set For Yourself During The 2018 Season?
My main goal is to be a consistently tough out at the plate. I want to be someone that pitchers constantly struggle with. I also have been trying to persuade coach to let me steal a few bases this year so I’m hoping for that as well.

What Does It Mean To You To Be A Part Of Team One?
Being a part of team one is a once in a life time opportunity that I am extremely grateful for. We get to set the standard and build the culture for all of the future players that come and play at Duke. Being a part of team one is being a part of a family that I will have for the rest of my life.

What’s One Quote Or Saying That You Live By?
It’s not about the cards you’re dealt, but how you play the hand.

What’s Your Pregame Ritual?
I’ve never really had a pregame ritual. I just try to stay loose and joke around with teammates.
