"My favorite moment at Duke so far was the day of the first game of the fall; the first game ever. It was such an unbelievable day and I will never forget it."
What’s One Part Of Your Game That You Feel You’ve Improved The Most This Fall?
"One part of my game that I feel that I’ve improved most this fall is my outfield play. I have never spent much time in the outfield, but in the fall coach threw me out there and I can definitely say that I have improved and feel much more comfortable."
Describe What It Was Like To Be A Part Of The Program’s Inaugural Game On Sept. 30.
"Honestly, it was the coolest experience. Unless you were on that field on Sept. 30 you wouldn’t be able to understand the feeling or the energy. There was so much time and work put into that day, and it was finally there. I personally was surprised by the number of people that came. I would’ve been nervous but all of us were so excited. For awhile it was like everything in the world had paused for that game. That’s what it felt like."
What’s One Personal Goal You Have Set For Yourself During The 2018 Season?
"My goal for the 2018 season is to be ready and able to help my team in any way possible, and to do it to the best of my ability."
What Does It Mean To You To Be A Part Of Team One?
"Being a part of Team One is such an incredible opportunity, one that is still surreal to me. To think that the 18 of us were the ones to build a culture, and create a sisterhood, start traditions and standards, and that everyone that comes after us will live by these things is completely crazy. I am so lucky and grateful that I am able to take part in it."
What’s One Quote Or Saying That You Live By?
“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
What’s Your Pregame Ritual?
"I don’t really have a pregame ritual, but right before every game starts I have to re-tie my cleats to make sure they are tight enough."
