COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Blue Devil sophomore Jillian Wolgemuth has been selected to the U.S. U-21 women’s national team roster that will head to Tucuman, Argentina in June for a three-game test series against the country’s U-21 team.

U-21 USWNT head coach Phil Edwards announced the 17-athlete squad following an evaluation process that included three training weekends.

A member of the 2017 U.S. U-21 women’s national team, Wolgemuth previously made trips to Belgium and Germany with the U-17 and U-19 squads. She started 20 of 21 contests on Duke’s back line in 2017, notching two defensive saves. During the fall, she helped the Blue Devils’ defensive unit rank among the top 10 teams in the country in shutouts (7) and goals against average (1.28).

The U-21 USWNT Argentina Tour will take place June 10-18, with contests slated for June 14, June 16 and June 17. All three matches will be held at 5 p.m. ET.
