Duke Kicks Off Spring Slate at Home This Weekend

DURHAM, N.C. – With several weeks of spring practice in the books, the Duke field hockey team will get its first taste of competition in 2019 this weekend, kicking off the spring slate with two days of action at Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium.

The Blue Devils open the weekend with a 1 p.m. contest Saturday against William & Mary. Sunday sees the squad welcome American, Liberty and North Carolina for a full day of competition. Duke takes on the Tar Heels at 9 a.m., the Flames at 10:45 a.m. and American at 1 p.m.

Fan parking throughout the day will be available in the 705 Broad Street lot across Broad Street from the stadium.

Following this weekend’s action, the Blue Devils make the short trip over to Chapel Hill next Saturday and Sunday for matchups with the U.S. U-21 and Developmental squads.

9 a.m. – Duke vs. North Carolina
10 a.m. – Liberty vs. American
10:45 a.m. – Duke vs. Liberty
11:30 a.m. – North Carolina vs. American
12:15 p.m. – North Carolina vs. Liberty
1 p.m. – Duke vs. American
