High School: A three-year letterwinner for head coach Michael Rice’s Upper Arlington High School squad … as a senior, helped the V8+ to a 16th place finish at the Head of the Charles … finished second at the Midwest Erg Sprints (varsity), 12th at scholastic nationals (varsity 8+) and 11th at youth nationals (varsity 4+) … as a junior, went with V8+ to the Head of the Charles and took 20th … junior year also placed third at the Midwest Erg Sprints (varsity), gold (V4+) and silver (V8+) at the Midwest scholastics and sixth at the scholastic nationals (V8+) … took third in the J8+ at the Midwest scholastics as a sophomore and took third at the Midwest Erg Sprints (novice) as a freshman.
