2018-19: Opened the NCAA Championships in exhilarating fashion as a member of Duke's 200 freestyle relay - the first in women's program history to qualify for an event final and garner honorable mention All-America recognition ... Advanced to an individual final at NCAAs for the first time in the 50 freestyle, dipping below the 22-second mark before finishing 11th in the country ... Added honorable mention All-America accolades in the 100 butterfly and 400 freestyle and 200 medley relays ... Broke her own school record in the 50 freestyle with a 22.07 clocking in preliminaries before tying for fourth in the ACC championship final for a career-best finish in the event ... Added fifth-place finishes in the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly ... Surpassed her own program record twice in the 100 backstroke, stopping the clock at 52.18 in finals ... Swam on 200 and 400 freestyle relays that turned in fourth-place finishes ... Led off Duke's 400 freestyle relay with a 100 freestyle split of 48.27, breaking her own school record ... Tabbed the Duke Student-Athlete of the Week Dec. 5 following a record-breaking performance at the Tennessee Invitational … Broke 50 freestyle school record with a 22.12 clocking in event preliminaries and added a program record in winning the 100 backstroke event (52.27) … Also broke her own school record twice in the 100 freestyle en route to taking second overall (48.29) and was part of Duke's record-breaking 400 freestyle relay (3:15.32) … Selected to compete on the ACC's top 200 medley relay at the inaugural ACC/Big Ten Challenge … Also took fourth in the 100 butterfly and fifth in the 50 freestyle with a pair of NCAA provisional cuts at that meet. 

2017-18: Qualified for the NCAA Championships for a second-straight year, representing the Blue Devils in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly and on two relays ... Member of the 400 freestyle relay that eclipsed the previous program record with a time of 3:15.44 ... That swim placed the group 17th in the country ... 200 medley relay tied for 21st ... Improved upon last year’s showing in the 50 freestyle by nine spots and was also top-40 in the 100 butterfly ... At the ACC Championships, led off the Blue Devils’ 400 medley relay that broke the school record with a 3:35.64 clocking ... Also competed on 400 freestyle (3:16.50) and 200 medley relays that recorded the second-fastest marks in school history (1:37.31) ... Tied for 11th in the 100 butterfly (52.79) and 20th in the 50 freestyle (22.60) while placing 16th in the 100 freestyle (49.40) ... Duke’s top finisher in two events at No. 14 Virginia, winning the 100 butterfly with an NCAA provisional cut of 53.78 and taking second in the 50 freestyle ... Competed on the winning 200 medley relay in the season opener against No. 23 Florida State and Virginia Tech ... Also claimed the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly against the Seminoles and Hokies ... Team captain … Over the summer, placed ninth in the 50-meter butterfly at the 2018 Phillips 66 National Championships ... 2016-17: Rounded out her freshman campaign at the NCAA Championships, where she guided the 200 freestyle and 200 medley relays to a pair of top-20 finishes ... Also competed individually in the 50 and 100 freestyle and the 100 butterfly preliminaries ... Member of winning 200 medley relay four times during the regular season before helping the relay break the school record and qualify for NCAAs at the ACC Championships ...  Added a second program record and ‘A' cut as a member of the 200 freestyle relay that took fifth in the ACC ... Swam on the Blue Devils' 400 freestyle and 400 medley relays as well ... Individually, tied for seventh in the 100 butterfly championship final after posting the second-fastest mark in school history during preliminaries ... Also placed 17th in the 50 freestyle and 20th in the 100 freestyle ... Member of 200 medley relay that broke a Taishoff record against South Carolina (1/14) ... ‘A' finalist in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly at the NC State GAC Invite ... Broke her own state-meet record in the 100 butterfly as a senior … Led Pine Lake to its first state championship in any sport in 2016 … Contributed to state titles in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays her final year ... Three-time North Carolina state meet MVP … Member of three national age group record-setting relays (400 LCM freestyle relay, 800-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard medley relay) ... Member of the SwimMAC Carolina club program.

Personal: Born Alyssa Jean Marsh Sept. 8, 1997 in Opelika, Alabama ... Daughter of David and Kristin Marsh ... Has one brother (Aaron) and one sister (Maddie) ... Father swam at Auburn (1978-81) before returning to his alma mater as a coach from 1982-84 and 1990-2007 ... As the head coach of the Tigers (1990-2007), he led the Auburn men and women to a combined 12 national championships ... Father is currently the U.S. Olympic Team head women's coach and oversaw the squad at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio ... He spent 10 years as the CEO/Director of Coaching at SwimMAC Carolina in Charlotte, N.C., before moving to the West Coast in 2017 to become the head coach at UC San Diego ... Mother swam at California and is currently the coach at Pine Lake.
