DURHAM, N.C. – Guests traveling to the Duke University West Campus on Friday, October 28 should be aware of the following parking alerts for Duke Men’s Basketball versus Virginia State at 7:00 PM in Cameron Indoor Stadium.  Please review the information below and leave extra time in your travels to avoid delays.  For a full parking and traffic map and directions to disability and general public parking areas - visit www.goduke.com/gameday and review the Men’s Basketball information.  

DUKE MEN’S BASKETBALL TRAFFIC ALERTS
Science Drive Parking Garage (SDG) – is an Iron Duke parking lot on game day and will officially open for the October 28th game versus Virginia State. Game day parking will enter/exit SDG from NC 751/Cameron Blvd. only. There is no entry/exit onto Science Drive. During ingress, SDG permit holders can enter the garage from either direction by turning right or left into the garage. Traffic control officers will be on-site to assist. Post-game, vehicles exiting the garage are ONLY permitted to turn right - there is no left turn out of the garage. A new pedestrian crosswalk with improved lighting on Science Drive connects the garage to Frank Bassett Drive and the pedestrian path through Morris Williams Stadium.

Men’s Basketball Traffic Checkpoints – For all Duke Men’s Basketball home games, checkpoints are set-up on the roads surrounding campus to keep only necessary traffic on the interior roads of campus.  Checkpoints will become active on Saturday, October 28th at 5:00 PM.  All Iron Duke Parking Permit Holders must have their Iron Duke Parking Permit hanging from their rearview mirror as they approach for access at these checkpoints and their designated lots.  Checkpoints are located at the following intersections:

• Intersection of Science Drive and NC 751/Cameron Blvd.
• Intersection of Towerview Road and Circuit Drive
• Towerview Road Traffic Circle
• Science Drive Garage on NC 751/Cameron Blvd.

Iron Duke Parking for Men’s Basketball – Iron Duke Men’s Basketball parking operations will operate normally for guests with a Men’s Basketball Iron Duke parking pass.  All Iron Duke Lots will be operational beginning at 4:00 PM. Men’s Basketball Iron Duke parking passes must be displayed for access to the lots. For directions to all Iron Duke Parking Lots on Men’s Basketball game days as well as a parking/traffic map, please visit www.goduke.com/gameday and click on the Men’s Basketball and scroll down to Parking Information.

Iron Duke Disability Parking for Men’s Basketball – Iron Duke Men’s Basketball parking operations for persons with disabilities will operate normally for guests with a Men’s Basketball Iron Duke parking pass for the Whitford Drive and Science Drive Visitors’ Lots. The Whitford Drive and Science Drive Visitors’ Lots will open at 4:00 PM.  Shuttles for Persons with Mobility Impairments and an ADA lift-equipped vans will begin operation at 4:00 PM and run until one (1) hour post-game to provide assistance from both lots to the Whitford Drive circle.

General Public Parking for Men’s Basketball – General Public parking for Men’s Basketball is located in the Circuit Lots on Circuit Drive and in the Jogging Trail Lot located on NC751/Cameron Blvd. All general public lots will open at 5:00 PM.  There is a $10 charge to park – CASH ONLY.  For directions to General Public Parking Lots on Men’s Basketball game days as well as a parking/traffic map, please visit www.goduke.com/gameday and click on A-Z Guides and then click on the Men’s Basketball and scroll down to Parking Information.

General Public Disability Parking for Men’s Basketball – General Public parking for persons with disabilities for Men’s Basketball is located in the Edens Lots on Towerview Road. The Edens Lots will open at 4:00 PM.  There is a $10 charge to park – CASH ONLY.  Shuttles for Persons with Mobility Impairments and an ADA Lift equipped van will begin operation at 4:00 PM and run until one (1) hour post-game. The drop-off and pick-up location for the ADA Lift equipped van is located at the Krzyzewskiville sign on the north side of Cameron Indoor Stadium. Accessible Drop-off and Pick-Up Point - An accessible drop-off and pick-up point for persons with disabilities is located on Whitford Drive until 4:00 PM.  To access the drop-off and pick-up point, see the attendant located at the entrance to Whitford Drive. After 4:00 PM, all accessible drop-off and pick-ups will be in the Edens Lots on Towerview Road. To access the drop-off and pick-up point, see the attendant located at the lot entrance. ADA lift-equipped vans will be available to assist guests to/from the Krzyzewskiville Sign on the north side of Cameron Indoor Stadium. Post-game access to the accessible drop-off and pick-up point is permitted by accessing Towerview Road from Duke University Road.
