DURHAM, N.C. – Guests traveling to the Duke University West Campus on Saturday, January 27th should be aware of the following parking alerts for multiple athletic events – Duke Women’s Tennis is hosting ITA Kick-Off Weekend at Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center with LSU vs. Washington at 10:00 AM and Duke vs. Fresno State at 1:00 PM, Duke Men’s Lacrosse scrimmage versus Ohio State at 10:00 AM at the Cohan Practice Fields, Duke Swimming and Diving versus North Carolina at 1:00 PM (11:30 AM for diving) in Taishoff Aquatics Center and Duke Men’s Basketball versus Virginia at 2:00 PM in Cameron Indoor Stadium.  Please review the information below and leave extra time in your travels to avoid delays.  For a full parking and traffic map and directions to disability and general public parking areas - visit www.goduke.com/gameday and click on A-Z Guides and then click on the Men’s Basketball. 

WOMEN’S TENNIS ITA KICK-OFF WEEKEND PARKING INFORMATION

General Public Parking for Tennis– Guests attending the ITA Kick-Off Weekend can find general public parking in the Blue Zone Lots beginning at 8:00 AM. Prior to 11:00 AM guests can enter the Blue Zone off of the Duke University Road. After 11:00 AM, guests will be redirected to enter the Blue Zone off of Towerview Road at the traffic circle. Towerview Road can be accessed from Duke University Road. There is a $10 charge to park – CASH ONLY.

Persons with Disabilities Parking for Tennis – Parking for guests with disabilities attending ITA Kick-Off Weekend be available in the Blue Zone B-1 Lot, immediately adjacent to Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center, beginning at 8:00 AM.  Prior to 11:00 AM guests can enter the Blue Zone off of the Duke University Road. After 11:00 AM, guests will be redirected to enter the Blue Zone off of Towerview Road at the traffic circle. Towerview Road can be accessed from Duke University Road. There is a $10 charge to park – CASH ONLY.

An accessible drop-off and pick-up point is also located in the B-1 Lot. To access the parking area and the drop-off and pick-up point, guests should communicate with the traffic control officer and lot attendant located at the entrance to the Blue Zone off of Wannamaker Drive and request accessible parking. DUKE SWIMMING AND DIVING PARKING INFORMATION

General Public Parking for Swimming and Diving – Guests attending the Duke Swimming and Diving meet can find general public parking in the Jogging Trail Lot, located on NC 751/Cameron Blvd, and Small Circuit Lot, located on Circuit Drive. Once full, guests will be directed to the Large Circuit Lot. There is a $10 charge to park – CASH ONLY. General public parking will be open beginning at 8:00 AM.

An accessible drop-off and pick-up point for persons with disabilities is also located in the Blue Zone B-5 Lot at the Wilson Gate of Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium. Accessible lift-equipped van service will be available for transportation from the B-5 Lot to Krzyzewskiville sign in front of Wilson Gym and the accessible entrance to Taishoff Aquatic Pavilion.

DUKE MEN’S LACROSSE PARKING INFORMATION

 

General Public Parking for Lacrosse – Guests attending the Duke Men’s Lacrosse scrimmage can find general public parking in the Jogging Trail Lot, NC 751/Cameron Blvd and Small Circuit Lot on Circuit Drive. Once full, guests will be directed to the Large Circuit. There is a $10 charge to park – CASH ONLY. All general public parking will be open beginning at 8:00 AM.

DUKE MEN’S BASKETBALL TRAFFIC ALERTS

Men’s Basketball Traffic Checkpoints – For all Duke Men’s Basketball home games, checkpoints are set-up on the roads surrounding campus to keep only necessary traffic on the interior roads of campus. Checkpoints will become active on Saturday, January 27th at 12:00 PM. All Iron Duke Parking Permit Holders must have their Iron Duke Parking Permit hanging from their rearview mirror as they approach for access at these checkpoints and their designated lots. Checkpoints are located at the following intersections:
• Intersection of Science Drive and NC 751/Cameron Blvd.
• Intersection of Towerview Road and Circuit Drive
• Towerview Drive Traffic Circle

DUKE MEN’S BASKETBALL PARKING INFORMATION

Iron Duke Parking for Men’s Basketball – Iron Duke Men’s Basketball parking operations will operate normally for fans with a Men’s Basketball Iron Duke parking pass.  All Iron Duke Lots will be operational beginning at 11:00 AM. Men’s Basketball Iron Duke parking passes must be displayed for access to the lots. Iron Duke Disability Parking for Men’s Basketball – Iron Duke Men’s Basketball parking operations for persons with disabilities is available in the Whitford Drive Lot, Science Drive Visitors’ Lot and Science Drive Garage (Level 6). The Whitford Drive and Science Drive Visitors’ Lots, and Science Drive Garage will open at 11:00 AM.  Shuttles for Persons with Mobility Impairments and an ADA Lift equipped vans will begin operation at 11:00 AM and run until one (1) hour post-game all of those lots.  An accessible drop-off and pick-up point for persons with disabilities is located at the Science Drive Visitor’s Lot. To access the drop-off and pick-up point, see the attendant located at the entrance to the Science Drive Visitors’. General Public Parking for Men’s Basketball – General Public parking for Men’s Basketball is located in the Small and Large Circuit Lots on Circuit Drive and Jogging Trail Lot on Cameron Blvd/HWY 751. General Public Disability Parking for Men’s Basketball – General Public parking for persons with disabilities for Men’s Basketball is available in Blue Zone Lots 3 and 5 on Wannamaker Drive off of Towerview Road. There is a $10.00 charge to park - CASH ONLY. Accessible parking will open at 12:00 PM. Towerview Road can be accessed via Duke University Road.  Accessible lift-equipped van service will be available for transportation from the shuttle drop-off/pick-up points in the Blue Zone to the Krzyzewskiville sign. An accessible pedestrian route to Cameron Indoor Stadium is available by following the sidewalk around Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium to the Bostock Gate and Tribull Plaza. An accessible drop-off and pick-up point for persons with disabilities is available outside the Wilson Gate of Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.  Guests should use the accessible lift-equipped van for transportation to the stadium.  After drop-off, guests must park in a General Public parking lot.
