DURHAM, N.C. – Fans traveling to the Duke University West Campus on Saturday, March 3rd should be aware of the following parking alerts for Duke Men’s Lacrosse versus Richmond at Koskinen Stadium at 1:00 PM, ESPN College Game Day in Cameron Indoor Stadium at 11:00 AM and for Duke Men’s Basketball versus North Carolina in Cameron Indoor Stadium at 8:15 PM. Please review the information below and leave extra time in your travels to avoid delays. 

 

ESPN COLLEGE GAME DAY PARKING INFORMATION

General Public Parking for College Game Day – ESPN College GameDay is free and open to the general public. Doors will open at 9:30 AM and entry for the general public will be through the upper level doors of Cameron Indoor Stadium (South Hall of Honor entrance off of Whitford Drive and through the Duke Basketball Museum next to Krzyzewskiville). All non-Iron Duke permit holders should park in the General Public parking lots on Circuit Drive. Parking will be free of charge from 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM. After 11:00 AM there will be a $10, CASH ONLY charge to park in the Circuit Lots. A free courtesy shuttle will be provided from the Circuit Lots to Cameron in a constant loop from 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday. The drop off and pick-up location near Cameron will be at the Law School bus stop on Science Drive.

General Public Parking for Persons with Disabilities for College Game Day – General Public parking for persons with disabilities for College Game Day will be available in the Science Drive Visitors’ Lot. Please inform the parking attendant that you require parking for persons with disabilities to access the parking area. There will be no charge to park from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. After 11:00 AM there will be a $10, CASH ONLY charge to park. Shuttles for Persons with Mobility Impairments and an ADA Lift equipped van will begin operation at 7:00 AM and run until 1:00 PM. The drop-off and pick-up location for the ADA Lift equipped van is located on the south side of Cameron Indoor Stadium at the Whitford Drive Circle. Vehicles without the proper Iron Duke parking pass must be removed from the lot following College Game Day. Vehicles without the proper Iron Duke parking pass will be ticketed and towed at 3:00 PM. Iron Duke Parking for College Game Day – Iron Duke Men’s Basketball parking operations will operate normally for fans with a Men’s Basketball Iron Duke parking pass.  The Iron Duke parking lots will open on campus at 7:00 AM. Iron Duke Disability Parking for College Game Day – Iron Duke Men’s Basketball parking operations for persons with disabilities will operate normally for with a Men’s Basketball Iron Duke Parking pass for the Whitford Drive and Science Drive Visitors’ Lots. The Whitford Drive and Science Drive Visitors’ Lots will open at 7:00 AM. Shuttles for Persons with Mobility Impairments and an ADA Lift equipped vans will begin operation at 7:00 AM and run until 1:00 PM. DUKE MEN’S LACROSSE PARKING INFORMATION

 

General Public Parking – Guests attending the Duke Men’s Lacrosse versus Richmond game can find general public parking in the Jogging Trail Lot, the Small Circuit and Large Circuit Lots. Once full, guests will be directed to the Research Drive Parking Garage (PGIX). All general public parking for men’s lacrosse will open at 11:00 AM. There is a $10 charge to park – CASH ONLY.

Accessible Parking for Guests with Disabilities– Parking for guests with disabilities attending the Duke Men’s Lacrosse versus Richmond game will be available in the Whitford Drive Lot.  To access the parking area and the drop-off and pick-up point, guests should communicate with the parking lot attendant located at the bottom of Whitford Drive and request accessible parking. Vehicles without the proper Iron Duke men’s basketball parking pass must be removed from the lot post-game. Vehicles without the proper Iron Duke parking pass will be ticketed and towed at 5:00 PM.

DUKE MEN’S BASKETBALL TRAFFIC ALERTS

Men’s Basketball Traffic Checkpoints – For all Duke Men’s Basketball home games, checkpoints are set-up on the roads surrounding campus to keep only necessary traffic on the interior roads of campus. Checkpoints will become active on Saturday, March 3rd at 5:00 PM. All Iron Duke Parking Permit Holders must have their Iron Duke Parking Permit hanging from their rearview mirror as they approach for access at these checkpoints and their designated lots. Checkpoints are located at the following intersections:
• Intersection of Science Drive and NC 751/Cameron Blvd.
• Intersection of Towerview Road and Circuit Drive
• Towerview Drive Traffic Circle

DUKE MEN’S BASKETBALL PARKING INFORMATION

 

Iron Duke Parking for Men’s Basketball – Iron Duke Men’s Basketball parking operations will operate normally for fans with a Men’s Basketball Iron Duke parking pass.  All Iron Duke Lots will be operational beginning at 5:00 PM. Men’s Basketball Iron Duke parking passes must be displayed for access to the lots. For directions to all Iron Duke Parking Lots on Men’s Basketball game days as well as a parking/traffic map, please visit www.goduke.com/gameday and click on A-Z Guides and then click on the Men’s Basketball and scroll down to Parking Information..

 

Iron Duke Disability Parking for Men’s Basketball – Iron Duke Men’s Basketball parking operations for persons with disabilities is available in the Whitford Drive Lot, Science Drive Visitors’ Lot and Science Drive Garage (Level 6). The Whitford Drive and Science Drive Visitors’ Lots, and Science Drive Garage will open at 5:00 PM.  Shuttles for Persons with Mobility Impairments and an ADA Lift equipped vans will begin operation at 5:00 PM and run until one (1) hour post-game all of those lots.  An accessible drop-off and pick-up point for persons with disabilities is located at the Science Drive Visitor’s Lot. To access the drop-off and pick-up point, see the attendant located at the entrance to the Science Drive Visitors’. General Public Disability Parking for Men’s Basketball – General Public parking for persons with disabilities for Men’s Basketball is available in Blue Zone Lots 3 and 5 on Wannamaker Drive off of Towerview Road. There is a $10.00 charge to park - CASH ONLY. Accessible parking will open at 5:00 PM. Towerview Road can be accessed via Duke University Road.  Accessible lift-equipped van service will be available for transportation from the shuttle drop-off/pick-up points in the Blue Zone to the Krzyzewskiville sign. An accessible pedestrian route to Cameron Indoor Stadium is available by following the sidewalk around Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium to the Bostock Gate and Tribull Plaza. An accessible drop-off and pick-up point for persons with disabilities is available outside the Wilson Gate of Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.  Guests should use the accessible lift-equipped van for transportation to the stadium.  After drop-off, guests must park in a General Public parking lot.
