DURHAM, N.C. – Duke Athletics will host multiple events on West Campus this weekend – Track & Field Duke Invitational at Morris Williams Stadium on Friday, April 20th and Saturday, April 21st; Duke Baseball vs. North Carolina State at Jack Coombs Field on Friday, April 20th at 6:00 PM, Saturday, April 21st at 1:00 PM, and Sunday, April 22nd at 1:00 PM; Duke Men’s Lacrosse vs. Marquette at Koskinen Stadium on Friday, April 20 that 7:00 PM and Duke Women’s Tennis vs. North Carolina on Friday, April 20th at 6:00 PM and Virginia Tech on Sunday, April 22nd at 12:00 PM at Ambler Tennis Stadium.

Please review the information below and leave extra time in your travels to ensure that you arrive at the parking area and stadium at your desired time.  A parking map is located in the “Related Links” accompanying this alert and additional information about each venue can be found in the game day A-Z guide highlighted below for each sport.  For stadium, parking and traffic information on game days, please follow @Duke_GAMEDAY on Twitter.

TRACK & FIELD DUKE INVITATIONAL MEET PARKING – FRIDAY & SATURDAY

 

Participant Bus & Van Loading Area & Parking – A temporary unloading/loading area is available on Frank Bassett Drive (GPS Address: 147 Frank Bassett Drive) outside Morris Williams Stadium. Team buses shuttling meet participants should use the Grounds Lot located at the end of Frank Bassett Drive to turn-around and exit campus via Frank Bassett Drive. Team buses remaining on-site and team vans will be park in the Grounds Lot at the end of Frank Bassett Drive. Team buses & vans will not be permitted to park in other locations.

 

General Public & Meet Staff/Volunteer Parking - is available in Science Drive Garage (GPS Address: 3100 Cameron Blvd.) located on NC 751/Cameron Blvd. beginning at 7:00 AM for both days of competition. All entry/exit from Science Drive Garage is from NC 751/Cameron Blvd. There is no charge to park.There is no tailgating permitted in the garage.

 

General Public Accessible Parking – is available in the Whitford Lot (GPS Address: 110 Whitford Drive) on Whitford Drive off of Science Drive beginning at 7:00 AM for both days of competition. An accessible drop-off/pick-up point for guests with disabilities is available on Whitford Drive outside the Brandaleone Family North Gate of Morris Williams Stadium. Please speak to the lot attendant at the base of Whitford Drive for access for parking & drop-off.

Parking Operations

General Public Garage Parking - is available in Science Drive Garage (GPS Address: 3100 Cameron Blvd.) located on NC 751/Cameron Blvd. beginning (2) hours prior to first-pitch – Friday 4:00 PM, Saturday 11:00 AM, Sunday 11:00 AM. All entry/exit from Science Drive Garage is from NC 751/Cameron Blvd. There is no charge to park.There is no tailgating permitted in the garage – this policy will be strictly enforced throughout the series.

 

General Public Tailgate Parking – is available in the Grounds Lot (GPS Address: 3001 Cameron Blvd.) located off of NC 751/Cameron Blvd. beginning (2) hours prior to first-pitch – Friday 4:00 PM, Saturday 11:00 AM, Sunday 11:00 AM. All entry/exit from the Grounds Lot on game day will be from NC 751/Cameron Blvd.

Stadium Operations

Skip the Ticket Sales Lines with Digital Ticketing! – Guests are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the mobile ticket and print-at-home ticket options to avoid lines at the ticket windows during the series.  Purchase tickets for all games of the series any time online prior to on game day from your computer or mobile device by visiting www.goduke.com/tickets.  Show your print-at-home or ticket PDFs/mobile tickets with QR Code at the Jack Coombs Field gates to be scanned for entry.  (Standard data rates apply for all mobile purchases.)

 

Game Day Ticket Sales & Will Call – are available at the Whitford Drive Ticket Booth outside of Jack Coombs Field. Sales and will call windows will open (90) minute prior to first pitch – Friday 4:30 PM, Saturday 11:30 AM, Sunday 11:30 AM. Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted. Please allow extra time for walk-up sales on game day.

 

Stadium Gates – will open (90) minutes prior to first pitch – Friday 4:30 PM, Saturday 11:30 AM, Sunday 11:30 AM.

 

Stadium Bag & Chair Policy - Small bags and personal items are permitted to enter Jack Coombs Field. Backpacks and large bags are not permitted – except for medical or childcare reasons.  All bags will be inspected and searched prior to entering the stadium. Lawn chairs are permitted in the stadium but may only be used in the lawn seating area along the first base line.

DUKE MEN’S LACROSSE PARKING - FRIDAY

General Public Parking – is available in the Blue Zone Lots (GPS Address: 2300 Duke University Road) located off of Duke University Road beginning (2) hours prior to the match – Friday 4:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM.  All entry/exit from the Blue Zone will be from Duke University Road. Please speak to the lot attendant for access.

 

General Public Accessible Parking – is available in the Card Lot (GPS Address: 320 Towerview Road) off of Towerview Road beginning (2) hours prior to the match – Friday 4:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM. An accessible drop-off/pick-up point for guests with disabilities is available in the Card Lot outside of Ambler Tennis Stadium. Please speak to the lot attendant for access for parking & drop-off.
