DURHAM, N.C. – Senior attacker and draw specialist Olivia Jenner has been chosen for second team All-America honors, as announced Tuesday by Inside Lacrosse.
The accolade came on the heels of Jenner’s selection to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association All-South Region first team last week. She collected Media All-America honors from Inside Lacrosse for the second consecutive season.
Already Duke’s all-time career draw controls leader entering her senior year, Jenner broke her own program season record this spring (150) and set the Blue Devils’ single-game record with 20 draw controls in the regular season finale. Her 512 draw controls over four seasons ranked her among the all-time Division I career leaders in the category.
The 2019 campaign saw Jenner tie for first on the team in assists (23) and rank second in goals (59) and points (82).
This spring, the Duke co-captain from Annapolis, Md., was also recognized on the All-ACC first team and as a Tewaaraton Award nominee. Jenner was selected eighth overall in April’s Women’s Professional Lacrosse League (WPLL) Spring Draft.
Also on Tuesday, the Blue Devils were tabbed 21st in the final IWLCA Division I Coaches Poll of the season.
