KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Duke fencing team was represented at the November North American Cup (NAC), hosted by the United States Fencing Association, by redshirt freshman Ben Stone. Stone rounded out his time in Kansas City with an eighth-place finish in junior men’s saber.

Stone entered the weekend seeded 14th and went 5-1 in pool play before earning a bye in the table of 256. Stone reeled off four straight victories before falling in the table of 8 to eventual bronze medalist Daniel Solomon.

Following the November NAC, select Duke fencers will participate in the December NAC Friday, Dec. 8-11 in Portland, Ore.
