The annual Duke Student-Athlete Talent and Recognition Show (S.T.A.R.S.) is a celebration of the off the field gifts and the accomplishments of individuals and teams from the academic calendar year. This marque event brings the entire student-athlete population together as each award is voted on by the student-athletes themselves. Mixed in with the awards presentation are live music performances from individuals and group collaborations. The show is organized by SAAC members and a collection of the Duke Athletic Administration staff. The ceremony is a reflection of the support the student-athletes give each other throughout the year.
