DURHAM, N.C. -- On October 19, the fourth annual Duke University Career Athlete Networking Forum Event was held in Scharf Hall and the Hall of Honor.  The event provided the student-athletes an opportunity to learn more about and network with companies and organizations that are interested in hiring Duke student-athletes.  Many of the attending companies and organizations had representatives that were former Duke student-athletes.

During the event, the student-athletes had a chance to hear from other former Blue Devils about their experiences when they entered the workforce after their college career was completed. The event started with group information sessions with each company and organization attending the event.  Following the sessions, there was a panel discussion that included former Duke student-athletes discussing various topics about career exploration, interview preparation and networking. The evening concluded with a traditional career fair setting where the student-athletes were able to have individual meetings with companies and their representatives.
