DUKE STRENGTH, SPEED AND AGILITY DEVELOPMENTAL CLINIC
The Duke University Strength and Conditioning staff invites you to participate in a clinic designed to teach you the techniques of strength training, speed development and agility training. The clinic is conducted by Will Stephens, Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for men's and women's basketball. Sessions will be between 6-8 p.m. weekdays from January 1 - December 31. Weekend sessions are optional.
All Duke Baseball Camps are hosted at Duke's historic Jack Coombs Field. With a field-turf playing surface, a 6,000 square foot indoor facility(featuring batting cages and indoor mounds), and a covered grandstand with seating capacity for up to 2,000 people, Coombs Field is an ideal venue to host a great baseball camp experience.Duke baseball camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs.

Duke Field Hockey Camps provide a positive and supportive learning environment while allowing campers to experience the latest technical and tactical aspects of the game. The Duke field hockey staff will provide instruction specifi c to the needs of the individual campers and/or team and will challenge them to read and adjust to situations in a game-like environment.

Duke Academy of Golf The 2015 Duke Academy of Golf is directed by women's golf head coach Dan Brooks and is for boys and girls ages 11 and older. In Duke’s history its athletics department has won 15 NCAA National Championships in all sports combined – Dan Brooks and his golf program have won six of those championships since 1999. He is the all-time winningest coach in the history of collegiate golf with 120 tournament wins, and his squads have secured the ACC Championship 18 times during his career at Duke. This is the 18th year of the popular Duke Academy of Golf, while Coach Brooks has been involved in running a golf camp at Duke for 30 years. Over the years, students have come from 39 states and numerous foreign countries to participate in the Academy and benefit from the outstanding instruction. On average, 45-55 students come per week to the Academy for an excellent experience. Dates for the summer of 2015 are set for June 13-18 and June 20-25. Since 1978 Duke Golf School has been a part of the Duke University for rising golfers. Whether you aim to be a collegiate golfer or you just love the game and want to learn more, we provide an atmosphere in which each student will grow in their knowledge and enjoyment of the game as well as make lasting friendships and unforgettable memories.
While in attendance, each student will have unlimited access to the University's private practice facilities, including the renowned V-1 Swing Analysis Program and Trackman doppler radar system (for live ball flight club and movement analysis).
Taught by College Golf Coaches, Class A PGA Professionals, and Collegiate Student-Athletes, students will gain insight about the game at every stage of development from beginner to high-level amateur & professional. Sessions will include insight on competing in junior golf, incorporating valuable practice techniques, understanding the importance of nutrition for competition. Lessons will also include detailed instruction on every aspect of the game from holing short putts to blasting long drives.

Duke Men's Lacrosse Camp The Blue Devil Summer Session Residential Camps are geared towards players of all skill levels and for those entering grades 7-12. The camps combine rigorous lacrosse training from an elite staff with a fun-filled residential experience. The focus will be on teaching skills and concepts of live game situations in order to strengthen players' confidence to make quality decisions on the field. The Varsity Elite Division, for those entering 11th and 12th grade, features a collegiate developmental program and will include session dedicated to strength & conditioning as well as college recruiting.
Matt Danowski Shooting Camp The Matt Danowski Shooting Camp is designed to give every player the opportunity to work on their shooting fundamentals with one of the best players in the world. This camp will focus on shooting over the course of two days, filling the gap between Duke's two instructional overnight camps. New this year, add the face-off clinic to your camper's experience. These sessions will focus on the specific skills needed to excel at the face-off position and will feature individual instruction. Duke Super Elite Camp The Duke Super Elite Camp is being offered for the serious and advanced young lacrosse player! It is open to rising 9th through 12th graders. This camp will feature an outstanding staff consisting of top Division I head and assistant coaches. Our training sessions will focus on teaching the skills, concepts and game situations that will give you the confidence to make quality decisions on the field and ULTIMATELY prepare you to play at the next level. Loads of scrimmage opportunities in small game and full field situations with and against staff will be held each day along with tournament play each evening. The camp also features sessions on Strength & Conditioning, Speed Training, Nutrition and Sports Psychology. Each camper will also receive her own training notebook which will include information about these topics.
Duke Elite Camp The Duke Elite Camp is being offered for the young lacrosse player looking to improve her skills! It is geared with special emphasis on preparing intermediate rising 8th - 12th graders who wish to continue progressing at varsity team level. This camp will feature an outstanding staff consisting of top Division I head and assistant coaches. Our training sessions will focus on teaching the skills, concepts and game situations that will give you the confidence to make quality decisions on the field and ULTIMATELY prepare you to play at the next level. Junior Blue Devil Day Camp The Junior Blue Devil Day Camp is being offered for players grades 3-8 who are looking to learn the basics of lacrosse. Full day camp are from 9am - 3pm & half day camps are from 9am - 12pm. Instruction will be geared towards players who are less experienced and/or beginners. Each day is designed to develop your skills and lacrosse knowledge in an atmosphere that promotes learning, competition and fun. Duke Swim Camp The Duke Swim Camp is open to boys and girls ages 9 and up. Duke Swim Camp is specifically designed for the swimmer wanting to learn elite level techniques and training skills. Our staff will conduct two daily sessions, which include a workout, technique and drill work on all four competitive strokes, starts, and turns, as well as video feedback. Duke Nike Track and Field Camp The camps are conducted on the beautiful campus of Duke University in the heart of Durham, N.C., and specializes in Sprints, Jumps, Hurdles, Throws, as well as offering The Duke Pole Vault Camp.
