2011: Played and started in 17 contests in goal ... Posted a 9.20 goals against average and a .550 save percentage ... Amassed 145 saves in 945 minutes ... went 11-6 overall in the 17 games ... Tied his career-high in saves with 17 in the overtime victory over Maryland (3/5) ... Earned ACC Defensive Player of the Week recognition after performance against the Terrapins ... Made 11 stops in regular season win over Virginia (4/16) to earn second ACC Defensive Player of the Week award ... Had 14 saves in NCAA Tournament quarterfinal win over Notre Dame (5/22) ... Also had 14 stops at Jacksonville (4/30) ... Had 10-plus saves in 10 contests ... Ranked third on the team with 42 ground balls ... Picked up five loose balls in ACC Championship against Maryland (4/24) ... Made 23 saves in two NCAA Tournament games to rank seventh all-time amongst Duke goalies in NCAA postseason action ... 2010: Played in 19 games, starting 16 … Ffinished rookie season with a 9.41 goals against average, a .508 save percentage and a 12-4 record … Made 154 saves for the year … Made a career-high 17 saves against Bucknell (2/13) in first career game … Compiled 15 stops against Notre Dame (2/20) … Made 10-plus saves in five games … Collected five saves in national championship game against Notre Dame (5/31) … Became just the sixth true freshman goalie to win a national title as a starter, joining Rodney Rullman, UVA (1972), Kevin Mahon, Johns Hopkins (1974), Quint Kessenich, Johns Hopkins (1987), Derek Kenney, UVA (1999), John Galloway, Syracuse (2008) … All-ACC Academic selection.
 
Prep: A four-year letterwinner for John Nostrant at Haverford ... Twice named a U.S. Lacrosse High School All-American ... Selected as an Under Armour Senior All-American, helping the South team to victory in the 2009 game ... Led Haverford to the Inter-Ac Championship and tournament title as a senior ... Named county Player of the Year in 2009 ... Earned first team all-state and all-county honors three times ... Named to the All-Inter-Ac first team three times ... Selected as an Under Armour Junior All-American in 2008.
