Career: Played in 51 games and started 21 at both forward and outside back … Tallied three goals and one assist for seven points … Two-time ACC Academic Honor Roll recipient.

2013: Saw action in 12 games and started nine at outside back … Tallied a goal in 2-2 draw with Wake Forest … Helped lead Duke to seven shutouts … Went the distance in six games overall … Earned his first start of the season against North Carolina and started the final nine games of the year in which Duke went 4-1-4.

2012: Played in 18 games with 11 starting assignments on Duke’s attack … tallied a career-high two goals in the 2-0 win over Davidson (10/23) … played a career-best 92 minutes in 0-0 draw at Elon ... ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2011: Saw action in eight games ... played a season-high 17 minutes in 3-0 victory over UNC Asheville ... also played 16 minutes in Duke's ACC quarterfinal game against Clemson ... helped Duke solidify shutouts against UNC Asheville and the Tigers.

2010: Saw the field in 13 games and started one … played a season-high 90 minutes in a shutout of George Washington … helped the defense to four shutouts … played 33 minutes against then No. 2 Virginia … tallied his first collegiate point with an assist at Virginia Tech … registered a total of three shots for the season ... ACC Honor Roll selection.

Prep: A four-year letterwinner for John Finn at Catholic Memorial … registered 47 goals and 32 assists during his scholastic career … named to the ESPN RISE All-America team as a senior … a two-time member of the Eastern Massachusetts All-Star team … voted the Catholic Conference Most Valuable Player in 2009 … a two-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic team … selected to the all-state team as a junior and was a Massachusetts All-Star choice as a senior … posted 33 goals and 21 assists his final two seasons … selected to train with the U-18 US Men’s National Team in 2008 … played club soccer for FC Greater Boston Bolts … helped team to finish seventh at nationals in 2008 and 2009 … team captain in 2010 for the Bolts … team finished at the top of the Northeast Division in 2010 … also played lacrosse for two years … a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born William Fairfax Donovan on Nov. 25, 1991 in Boston, Massachusetts … son of James and Carter Donovan … has two brothers, Ben and Peter.
