2013: Earned second team All-ACC honors, becoming the first Blue Devil third baseman to garner all-conference recognition since Jeff Becker in 1999 ... One of two Duke players to start all 55 games during the 2013 campaign ... Hit a career-best .281 with 18 doubles, seven home runs, 34 runs scored and 48 RBI ... Led the team in both doubles and RBI ... RBI total was the most by a Blue Devil since Nate Freiman drove in 62 in 2009 ... Registered at least one RBI in 30-of-55 games, including a streak of nine-straight contests from March 23 to April 5 ... Registered multiple RBI in 12 contests ... Ranked in the top-25 in the ACC in slugging percentage (24th, .470), RBI (t-19th, 48), doubles (t-8th, 18), home runs (t-16th, 7) and total bases (t-22nd, 102) ... Hit .333 with runners in scoring position ... Had a team-best 12-game hitting streak from March 16 to April 2 ... Reached base safely in 19 consecutive games ... Started all 30 league contests at third base, hitting .270 with nine doubles, five home runs, 16 runs scored and a team-high 21 RBI ... Belted a walk-off home run Feb. 23 in Duke’s victory over Bucknell ... Knocked in a career-high four RBI March 27 against North Carolina A&T ... Named the ACC Player of the Week April 1 after going 8-for-16 with three doubles, a home run, 11 RBI, five runs scored and six walks in five games from March 26-30 ... Became Duke’s first conference player of the week selection since Alex Hassan in 2008 ... Played for the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod League over the summer, batting .248 with seven doubles, three home runs, 18 runs scored and 11 RBI.
 
2012: Started all 55 games ... Started 53 games at third base and two at shortstop ... Hit .237 with 49 hits, 19 RBI and 36 runs scored ... Slugged .406, good for third on the team, with a team-high 19 doubles, four home runs and two triples ... Led the team in games started (55), at bats (207), runs (36) and doubles (19) ... Hit .373 versus left-handed pitching ... Hit his first home run of the season against Campbell Feb. 21 ... Also added homers against Virginia Tech, NC State and Longwood ... Had a 10-game hitting streak from April 8 to April 24 ... Posted 13 multi-hit games ... Had three-hit games against Campbell and Maryland ... Totaled five games with multiple RBI ... Went five-for-five on stolen base attempts ... Had a 20-game errorless streak from Feb. 22 to March 24 ... In ACC games, hit .211 with 12 doubles, two home runs and seven RBI ... 12 doubles in ACC games ranked tied for the second-most in the conference.
 
2011: Started all 56 games as a freshman ... All 56 starts came at third base ... Hit .255 with 55 hits, 32 RBI and 26 runs scored ... Posted a .333 slugging percentage with 12 doubles, one home run and one triple ... Had a team-best 14-game hitting streak ... Had 14 multi-hit games ... Had three-hit games against Richmond, Villanova (twice) and NC State ... Had eight multiple-RBI games ... Had a season-high four RBI against Villanova ... Drove in three runs against Davidson (twice) and Wake Forest ... First career home run came against Davidson ... Hit first career triple against Boston College ... Had a 16-game errorless streak ... Ended the season with a 13-game errorless streak ... Stole three bases in six attempts.
 
High School: Four-year letterwinner at New Hanover High School ... The conference player of the year and first team all-state as a senior ... Hit .409 with 10 homers and 38 RBI as a senior ... Also tabbed first team all-conference and first team all-area ... Earned the Robert Moore Most Outstanding Player award twice ... Hit .517 during his junior season ... Named first team all-conference as a junior ... Lettered three years as the quarterback on the football team ... Captained the football team as a junior and senior ... Earned the Trey Barrett Leadership Award, the Coach Jap Davis Achievement Award and the United States Army Reserve National Scholar-Athlete Award ... Led the team to the state semifinals in 2009 ... Member of the National Honor Society ... Volunteered with the Salvation Army ... Earned the Presidential Education Award, the North Carolina Scholars Award and the AP Scholar Award.
