DURHAM, N.C.-For the second time this season Duke sophomore Jordan Wolf has been selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week. Wolf led the Blue Devils to a 3-0 week with eight goals and eight assists for 16 points.
Wolf started off the week with two goals and two assists in Duke's 11-8 victory over Harvard. Four days later the Wynnewood, Pa., native registered two goals and three assists as the Blue Devils upended No. 11 North Carolina 13-11. Wolf also was crucial in forcing the own goal scored by the Tar Heels in Duke's fifth win of the year. He closed the weekend with his third hat trick of the season with seven points (4g, 3a) against Dartmouth. The seven points matches his career-high, while the hat trick was the ninth of his career.
Duke, ranked 10th in the most recent USILA national poll, hits the road again this weekend to take on No. 18 Georgetown. The Blue Devils have won three straight and are in search of their first true road victory this season. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
