DURHAM, N.C. – The ninth-ranked Duke women’s golf team will close the regular season this weekend as the Blue Devils will play in the Bryan National Collegiate from April 6-8 at the 6,323-yard, Par 72 Players Course at the Bryan Park Golf and Enrichment Center in Greensboro, N.C.
Along with the Blue Devils, College of Charleston, Florida State, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, Northwestern, North Carolina, N.C. State, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Tulane, Virginia and Wake Forest.
Duncan, who is out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., remains the No. 1 ranked golfer in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index entering the final regular season tournament. She has totaled six top 10 placements in six tournaments, including two victories at the Mason Rudolph Fall Preview and the Northrop Grumman Challenge. Her 70.83 stroke average leads the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).
Duke has placed fifth in two out of its last three tournaments with the other finish being a first place showing at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate in New Orleans, La. The Blue Devils are six-time champions at the Bryan National Collegiate, but haven’t won since 2005 (2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001, 1998).
The tournament will feature 18 holes each day and live scoring will be available at www.golfstat.com. Duke will tee off on Friday in the first round beginning at 9:05 a.m., on hole No. 1.
