DURHAM, N.C.-The Duke University men's lacrosse coaching staff will host the first of its six free coaching clinics tonight, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m., in the Murray Building on Duke's campus. Tonight's clinic will cover a broad range of topics from creating a mission statement and off-season team development and giving an overview of each position on the field.
The clinic will be streamed live for free on GoDuke.com for the second straight year. Simply log on to GoDuke.com and a link will be available on the front page.
A new feature to this year's clinics is that coaches and fans out there can watch the sessions live on the iPad by downloading the GoDuke app for $7.99. Once the app is downloaded you can keep up to date with all of the Duke teams and watch any free videos, which include the coaching clinics, game highlights and postgame interviews throughout the sports seasons.
Action gets underway at 7 p.m., in the Murray Building squad room. Head coach John Danowski and assistant coaches Ron Caputo, Joe Cinosky and Matt Danowski all will speak on the various topics. Below is a rough outline of tonight's clinic.
