DURHAM, N.C.— Duke University standouts Kim DeCesare and Laura Weinberg sat down with the Blue Devil Network this week to talk about their increased scoring this season and the upcoming NCAA Elite Eight match at Penn State on Friday.
DeCesare, who is a redshirt junior from Massapequa Park, N.Y., and Weinberg, a junior out of Boca Raton, Fla., have combined to score a school-record 32 goals on the season. They shattered the previous mark of 27 goals by a Blue Devil duo. Each has scored a career-high 16 goals on the year and have led third-seeded Duke into the Elite Eight for the second straight year.
Duke will take on Penn State on Friday, Nov. 23 at 7:00 p.m., in University Park, Pa.
