CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Duke head coach David Cutcliffe and select players met with the media Wednesday at Fuel Pizza to discuss the Blue Devils’ Belk Bowl matchup against Cincinnati. Following the interview session, the Blue Devils visited Bank of America Stadium -- site of the Belk Bowl on Thursday -- and then held their final practice at Providence Day High School in Charlotte.
DE Kenny Anunike, S Walt Canty, CB Ross Cockrell, QB Sean Renfree, WR Desmond Scott and WR Conner Vernon joined Cutcliffe at the media day in downtown Charlotte. Practice included position drills and a walk-thru, followed by Duke's last post-practice huddle before taking on Cincinnati at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 27. Cutcliffe's message to the team after practice was clear: The bowl trip is over. Now it's gametime.
