DURHAM, N.C. -- In 2011, with his contract situation in limbo and his rehab from several neck surgeries still ongoing, Peyton Manning didn’t feel comfortable rehabbing with the Indianapolis Colts anymore.

It was then that Duke head football coach David Cutcliffe, Manning's old quarterbacks coach at the University of Tennessee, offered to work with the four-time NFL MVP to rehab and build back his arm strength.

Manning soon accepted.

Recently, the Steve Cyphers and the NFL Network featured the duo and the process the pair went through from December 2011 through March 2012 to get Manning back on the field.

The piece includes never-before-seen video of Manning's private workouts at Duke's facilities, including conditioning drills, throwing sessions and a complete play-by-play simulation of the 2009 AFC Championship Game between the Colts and Jets inside Duke's Pascal Field House.
