ST. ANDREWS, Scotland – Behind a final round even-par, 72, Duke University sophomore Celine Boutier closed the 2013 Ricoh Women’s British Open tied for 56th at the St. Andrews Old Course in St. Andrews, Scotland.
Boutier, who is a product of Montrouge, France, carded rounds of 72, 72, 81 and 72 over the four days to finish with a nine-over-par, 297. She was solid all week in her first British Open of her career. On Saturday, Boutier dealt with high winds in the early going and eventually had the round suspended because of the strong winds. In the final round, Boutier carded three birdies, one bogey, one double-bogey and 13 pars.
Stacey Lewis won the British Open with a 72-hole total of 280.
