Fowler Picking Up Where He Left Off
After setting the NCAA single-season record for faceoff victories in 2013, senior Brendan Fowler has picked up where he left off for the Blue Devils ... Fowler has taken all but 20 faceoffs this season and sports a .641 success rate ... He has picked up ground balls on 60 of his 98 faceoff wins (61 percent) ... For his career he has 596 faceoff victories and a .620 faceoff percentage ... Fowler is in just his second season as Duke’s faceoff leader having taken just 31 percent of the draws in 2011 and 2012, compared to  the 81 and 98 percent taken by Kevin Massa (Bryant) and R.G. Keenan (North Carolina) throughout their careers.
