Heralded as “America's Sports Bible” for more than 60 years, Street & Smith's Sports Annuals is proud to announce the release of Street & Smith's College Basketball 2005-06 Yearbook. Street & Smith's College Basketball 2005-06 Yearbook goes on sale Sept. 27.
The annual issue is highlighted by Street & Smith's preseason Top 25 and Street & Smith's All-America teams. In addition, the yearbook has previews for Division II, III and the NAIA, with top 10 rankings and All-America teams. Duke is ranked No. 1 and features two players (guard J.J. Redick and forward/center Shelden Williams) on first-team All-America. The Blue Devils also have two preseason All-ACC players (Redick and Williams).
Along with in-depth Division I previews, the magazine includes schedules for all 317 teams and rosters for 156 teams. The yearbook also dedicates 18 pages of overviews for the 18 mid-major conferences, with predictions as well as preseason all-conference teams. The junior college report highlights some of the top players and schools and also identifies the nation's best juco athletes moving up to the next level.
The magazine also has its yearly women's college basketball preview, which includes the Top 25 and the “Terrific 10” players in the nation, as well as other honorable mention players. Duke is ranked No. 1 and features Monique Currie in the “Terrific 10,” while Mistie Williams made honorable mention.
Also included is Street & Smith's 2005-06 High School All-America Team for boys and girls, with the top 25 high school boys teams in the nation and 20 girls teams to watch. A complete tournament schedule is included, along with Division I, II, III and NAIA men's and women's individual and team statistical leaders.
