With The Duke Victory:

Won its 14th straight opening round game of the ACC Tournament, advancing to the semifinals every year since 1995.
Improved its record to 28-7 all-time against Florida State and won its fifth game in a row against FSU. The Blue Devils knocked FSU out of the ACC Tournament for the fifth time (1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2008), while moving their record to 5-0 against FSU in ACC Tournament play.
Joanne P. McCallie improved to 25-9 all-time in league tournament action (North Atlantic, America East, Big Ten and ACC).
Moved its record to 22-4 all-time in the Greensboro Coliseum and 20-3 in ACC Tournament action in the coliseum.
Improved to 3-1 against No. 6 seeds in the ACC Tournament.

Registered double-figure scoring for the 26th time this season out of 30 games and the sixth straight contest.
With her two blocks, moved into 14th on the ACC all-time blocked shots list with 185.
Notched her third 20+ scoring game out of the last four games as she posted 20 points to go along with three rebounds and two blocked shots.

Junior Abby Waner

Scored all 14 points in the second half as she hit 5-of-5 field goals and 2-of-2 from downtown.
With her six three-pointers attempted, moved into fourth place on Duke's single-season three-pointers made list with 159.
Broke a streak of 10 straight misses from three-point land as she hit 2-of-6 from downtown.
Tied a season high with seven rebounds and seven assists.

Sophomore Joy Cheek

Made her 15th career start and her first in ACC Tournament action.
Broke a seven-game streak without hitting a three-pointer as she hit 1-of-2 in the game.
Scored nine points, had three assists, three rebounds, two steals and one blocked shot.

Other Duke Notes:

With Abby Waner's three-pointer at the 8:09 mark of the second half, it broke a streak of 19 straight missed three-pointers dating back the last two games. Duke was 0-of-12 in the last game against UNC.
Made a season-high 16 free throws in the first half, which is more than the Blue Devils hit in 21 games this season.
Scored 81 points, which broke a four-game streak of scoring 78 or fewer points.
Hit 21-of-23 free throws for a 91.3 percentage, which was the second-best percentage of the season.
Blue Devils posted a 39-25 rebounding margin.
Played as the No. 3 seed in the ACC Tournament for the first time since 1986.
Duke will next play No. 2 seed Maryland in the semifinals on Saturday, March 8 at 3:30 pm.
