DURHAM, N.C. – Following last Friday's annual Blue-White Game, the Duke men's basketball team held a dunk contest.
Sophomore
Olek Czyz and freshman
Andre Dawkins were named co-champions. Czyz and Dawkins led after the first two rounds and met in the finals with both receiving perfect scores in their head-to-head matchup.
The judges,
Kevin White,
Jason Williams,
Joanne P. McCallie and the Blue Devil Mascot, decided to declare the dunk contest a tie.
Junior
Nolan Smith, sophomore
Miles Plumlee and freshman
Mason Plumlee also competed in the dunk contest.
Smith excited the packed crowd when he removed his uniform to reveal an old
Johnny Dawkins uniform for one of his dunks.
