Zsilinszka Falls in ITA Carolina Title Match

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.-Duke University junior Reka Zsilinszka had her run through the ITA Carolina Regional Championship hosted by Wake Forest University ended today in the title match. Sixth-seeded Zsilinszka fell to No. 9 Josipa Bek of Clemson in straight sets.
After defeating the tournament's top seed in the quarterfinals and the No. 3 seed in the semifinals, 13th-ranked Zsilinszka dropped a tough 6-4, 7-6 decision to second-seeded Bek. She is 7-5 overall this season and 4-3 against nationally-ranked foes.
The Blue Devils will compete in the Tar Heel Invitational next on Nov. 6-8. The tournament will be Duke's final competition of the fall season.
