- Improved to 8-2 overall.
- Moved the series lead to 4-1 against James Madison.
- Won its 20th consecutive home game in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
- Won its 34th straight home game in the month of December.
- Earned its 33rd win out of the last 34 home games against non-conference opponents.
- Won its second game against a ranked opponent this season (2-2).
- Won its 10th straight game against a team from the Colonial Athletic Conference (CAA).
- Improved to 38-8 all-time against the CAA.
- Coach P moved to 75-14 against teams from the Colonial Athletic Conference.
- Moved to 60-4 over the last eight years against non-conference opponents in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Junior Jasmine Thomas
- Finished three assists shy of her second triple-double of the season.
- Had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds to go along with seven assists.
- In the first half, had nine rebounds, seven assists and six points in 19 minutes.
- Hit two three-pointers for the fourth straight game.
- Posted double-digit rebounds for the second time in her career and second time this season.
- Scored double-figures for the ninth consecutive game.
- Had her streak of 20 straight free throws made broken in the second half.
Junior Krystal Thomas
- Totaled eight points and 10 rebounds.
- Had double-figure rebounds for the sixth time in her career.
Senior Keturah Jackson
- Hit her first three-pointer of the season and sixth of her career.
- Matched a career high with five assists.
- Totaled double-digit scoring for the second time this season and the sixth of her career.
Senior Joy Cheek
- Posted a career-high 21 points.
- Notched double-figure scoring in the first half with 10 points.
- Pulled down seven rebounds.
- Had double-digit points for the sixth time this season and the 44th time in her career.
Junior Karima Christmas
- Made her third start of the season and fifth of her career. Had not started since the Texas A&M game on Nov. 15.
Freshman Allison Vernerey
- Registered a career-high three blocked shots.
- Attempted a career-high 13 free throws and hit a career-high tying seven free throws.
- Finished with nine points and four rebounds.
Sophomore Kathleen Scheer
- Hit her second three-pointer of the season and first since Nov. 19 against Georgia Southern.
Other Duke Notes:
- Eight different Blue Devils scored in the first half and nine for the game.
- Outrebounded JMU, 54-55.
- Dished 17 assists for the game and had seven blocked shots.
- Held a 34-16 points in the paint advantage.
- Had a 20-6 lead in bench points.
- Will next travel to Maine to face the Black Bears on Monday, Dec. 21 at 7:00 p.m. It will mark homecoming for Head Coach Joanne P. McCallie.
