With The Duke Victory:
- Improved to 20-4 overall and 8-1 in ACC.
- Notched its 14th consecutive win in Cameron Indoor Stadium against ACC teams.
- Reached 20 wins for the 13th consecutive season.
- Coach P notched 20 wins in her coaching career for the 15th time in 18 years.
- Won its 36th game out of the last 40 contests in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
- Coach P improved to 35-4 all-time in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
- Has notched a 131-10 record at Cameron Indoor Stadium the last 10 years.
Junior Jasmine Thomas
- Finished the game with a season-low five points as she played 32 minutes and hit 2-of-9 field goals.
- Dished four assists, had two rebounds, two steals and one blocked shot.
Sophomore Shay Selby
- Finished the game with 10 points in 16 minutes.
- Scored double-figures for the second straight game and the third time this season.
- Hit 2-of-4 from downtown on the night. Has nailed four treys the last two games
Senior Joy Cheek
- Pulled down 10 rebounds, scored seven points, had three steals and two blocked shots.
- Totaled double-digit rebounds for the fourth time this season.
- Registered nine or more boards in four out of the last five games.
Senior Bridgette Mitchell
- Finished with 10 points, five rebounds, two steals, two blocks and one assist in 20 minutes.
- College double-figure scoring for the 10th time this season and the second straight game.
Freshman Allison Vernerey
- Notched her second career double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
- Posted a career-high 16 points to go along with five rebounds in the first half. Hit 7-of-8 field goals in 15 minutes.
- Had a career-high nine field goals made and 13 attempts.
- Pulled down a career-high seven offensive rebounds.
- Tied a career high with two blocked shots.
- Registered double-figure scoring for the second straight game as she made her second consecutive start of the season. Owns nine career double-digit scoring games.
- Took her fifth charge of the season and the fifth since the Christmas holiday.
- Became the first freshman at Duke to score 20+ points since 2005-06 when Abby Waner registered 23 points against Colorado State on Dec. 22, 2005.
Other Duke Notes:
- With Vernerey netting 20 points, the Blue Devils now own six players this year who have netted 20+ points in a game (J.Thomas, K.Thomas, Cheek, Christmas, Mitchell).
- Shot over 50.0 percent from the field for the second straight game in the first half (51.7%).
- Held NCSU to a season-low 16 points in the first half.
- Forced 17 first half turnovers and the Wolfpack finished with 30 for the game.
- Held the Wolfpack to a season-low 39 points.
- Shot 46.8 percent from the field, which is a season-high against ACC opponents and the highest for Duke since hitting 56.3 percent against Providence on Jan. 3.
- Held last two opponents to 51 (UNC) and 39 points, respectively.
- Totaled a 42-14 advantage in points in the paint and held a 32-10 lead in bench points.
- Had a season-high 28 turnovers in the game.
Duke will next travel to Virginia Tech for a Sunday, Feb. 21 contest at 2:0
