With The Duke Loss:
- Dropped to 21-2 overall and 7-1 in ACC play.
- Fell for the fourth straight year at UNC.
- Moved the series record against UNC to 47-32 in favor of the Tar Heels.
- Dropped its second straight road game (Connecticut).
Senior Jasmine Thomas
- Had 18 points, five assists, four steals and two rebounds.
- With her two assists, became only the fourth Blue Devil to notch over 1,300 points, 400 rebounds, 400 assists, 200 steals and 50 blocked shots. She now owns 1,497 points, 426 rebounds, 403 assists, 261 steals and 59 blocks.
- Moved into a tie for sixth on Duke's all-time steals list with 261 - tied Lindsey Harding.
- With her 36 minutes played, moved into seventh place on Duke's all-time minutes list with 3,669.
- Registered double-figure scoring in her sixth straight game against UNC.
- Started her 83rd straight game.
Freshman Chelsea Gray
- Scored a career-high 20 points, while dishing four assists and grabbing six rebounds.
- Hit a career-high four three-pointers in the game.
- Notched double-figure scoring for the 11th time this season and fourth in ACC play.
- Hit multiple three-pointers for the fifth time this season and second in ACC action.
Senior Karima Christmas
- Had two points, four rebounds and two assists.
- Did not start for the first time this season snapping a 22-game streak.
Sophomore Allison Vernerey
- Had 13 points, four rebounds and two steals.
- Posted double-figure scoring for the third time this season.
Freshman Haley Peters
- Had two points, two rebounds and one assist.
- Started her seventh game of the season.
Senior Krystal Thomas
- Pulled down 11 rebounds and had five points.
- Fouled out for the first time this season.
- Pulled down double-figure rebounds for the sixth time this season and fourth in ACC games.
Freshman Richa Jackson
- Went 0-of-8 from the field for the game and pulled down four rebounds.
- Made her second straight start.
Other Duke Notes:
- Only had six players score which was a season low.
- Outrebounded UNC, 44-38.
- Only turned the ball over 13 times.
- Tied a season low with six field goals and 12 attempts.
- Held without a field goal for 7:16 of the first half as UNC went on a 13-0 run.
- Started three freshmen for the first time this season.
- Trailed, 27-26, at the half marking the sixth time this year the Blue Devils have trailed at the half.
- Faced its third straight ranked opponent.
- Played its first of three games over the next seven days.
- Will next travel to Wake Forest on Friday, Feb. 11 at 8:30 p.m. The game will be aired live on RSN-TV.
