GREENSBORO, N.C. - Duke freshman Laetitia Beck carded a one-under-par, 71, on Saturday at the Bryan National Collegiate to move into the individual lead by two strokes with one round remaining at the 6,386-yard, Par 72 Bryan Park Champions Course in Greensboro, N.C.
Beck, who is a product of Caesarea, Israel, owns a two-day total of 143 and leads by two strokes over Virginia's Callie Nielson (145), Wake Forest's Michelle Shin (145) and North Carolina's Allie White (145).
Due to the possibility of inclement weather, the tournament started with a shotgun start and Beck opened with a birdie on the 482-yard, par five third hole. She went on to suffer a bogey on the fifth and a double-bogey on No. 7 before playing the next 12 holes at four-under-par to move to two-under-par. Beck closed with a bogey and par on her final two holes as she shot a 71. She hit 14 greens, 11 fairways and had 29 putts on the day.
Beck will be looking to claim her first collegiate victory on Sunday in the final round. She also led after day one of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate as she shot a career-best round of 66. Beck went on to finish tied for third.
As a team, Duke turned in Saturday-best round of five-over-par, 293, to move up to third place and only five shots off the lead. Wake Forest moved into first with a 589, while Tennessee (590), Duke (594), Virginia (594), North Carolina (597), Ohio State (6010, Louisville (606), Michigan State (607), Vanderbilt (608) and Washington (609) rounded out the top 10.

Donovan, who is from Hopkinton, Mass., also opened her play on day two with a birdie on her first hole, No. 4. She went on to notch 15 pars to go along with two bogeys on No. 14 and No. 16.
Donovan was around the pin all day as she hit 13 greens, 13 fairways and had 30 putts. On the 150-yard, par three seventh, Donovan hit her approach shot onto the lip of the bunker and had an excellent chip that hit the pin and stopped within six inches. She closed with birdie lip-outs on No. 11 and No. 18.
