DURHAM, N.C. – Duke University 2001 graduate Missy West was on campus recently and took time away to chat with GoDuke.com. West is currently the head women's basketball coach at Hartwick College.
A product of Malone, N.Y., West was a part of ACC Championship squads in 2000 and 2001, while helping lead Duke to its first NCAA Final Four in 1999. Over the summer, West competed in her first Iron Man competition.
As a four-year letterwinner at Duke, West appeared in 96 career games, while hitting 75 three-pointers, dishing 75 assists and swiping 65 steals. She was a 2000 ACC All-Tournament team selection as the Blue Devils claimed their first league title.
