Senior Student-Athletes Receive Rings

DURHAM, N.C. – On Tuesday evening at the Hart House, Duke president Dr. Richard H. Brodhead hosted the annual Senior Athlete Ring Presentation.
“(The ring) is a nice little gift,” said Kellie Catanach, a three-time All-American and the 2010 ACC Player of the Year who helped Duke's volleyball team to a four-year record of 100-31 with two conference championships and four NCAA Tournament berths. “A thank you from Duke to us. We're very grateful.”
The rings are presented to all senior student-athletes as a gift from the Varsity Club.
Duke's commencement exercises are set for Sunday, May 13.
