DURHAM, N.C. – Redshirt junior safety
Jeremy Cash has been one of the leaders of a Duke defense that is ranked 11th among FBS programs in scoring defense, surrendering just 18.10 points a game. Last Saturday against Virginia Tech, Cash booked a career-high 3.0 tackles for lost yardage and 2.0 sacks.
On Monday when Duke met with the media for its weekly in-season availability, Cash spoke with the play-by-play voice of the Blue Devils, Bob Harris. The two discussed moving on from a loss, facing a short week and preparing to face North Carolina.
Cash and the Blue Devils (8-2, 4-2 ACC) will host the rival Tar Heels (5-5, 3-3 ACC) for the first Thursday night game inside Wallace Wade Stadium in nearly 20 years. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with the television broadcast provided by ESPN.
