The Dolphins recently landed six players on the Preseason Atlantic Sun Team, including the preseason Defensive Player of the Year goaltender Pete DeLuca ... Joining DeLuca on the preseason squad are defenseman Austin Curtis, midfielders David Goldman and Conor Igoe, attackman Ari Waffle, and longstick middie Tyler Black ... Waffle is the top returning scorer, netting 18 goals and 12 assists a year ago, while Goldman had 24 points ... Igoe posted 18 points and DeLuca finished the year between the pipes with a 9.28 goals against average and a .552 save percentage ... Tyler Black is the top returning defensive presence for the Dolphins ... The senior led the squad with 29 caused turnovers and 37 ground balls a year ago.

Carroll Returns for Final Season
Redshirt senior
Casey Carroll is set to return for his final season as a Blue Devil ... Carroll missed last season after tearing his ACL in January ... First donning the Blue Devil jersey Feb. 28, 2004, Carroll competed for the Blue Devils for three seasons - he suffered a knee injury ending his season in 2006 ... Upon graduation in 2007, Carroll elected to serve his country ... He served in the 3rd BN 75th Ranger Regiment of the US Army from 2007-12 ... He is currently enrolled in Duke's Fuqua School of Business Master of Business Administration program ... Carroll is married to former Duke women's soccer player Erin Hathorn ... The couple have two sons, Casey and John.

Josh Dionne opens the 2014 season on a 12-game goal scoring streak dating back to March 18, 2013 ... Dionne, averaging 2.83 goals per game in that stretch, is one of 14 players to have scored at least one goal in each of the past 12 games.
Wolf Riding Point Scoring Streak
With at least a point in all 21 games last season, Wolf is riding a nation's-best 41-game point scoring streak ... In the past 41 games, the Wynnewood, Pa., native has 89 goals, 61 assists for 150 points ... He has been held without a point in just five games in his career and Duke is 1-4 in those contests ... Wolf was last held scoreless in the 2011 NCAA semifinal against Maryland - May 28, 2011.
Wolf Aiming To Join 100 & 100 Club
Duke joined the small fraternity of Duke players to have scored 100 career goals in 2013 and now is just 19 assists shy of becoming just the fourth player in Duke lacrosse history to compile 100 career goals and 100 career assists ... He has had at least 20 assists in all three seasons, including a career-high 33 in 2012.

Meet the Newcomers
Duke welcomes a group of 10 freshmen to the Duke lacrosse family in 2014 ... Six of the 10 were selected to play in the Under Armour All-America game and five are listed among the top 50 incoming freshmen according to Inside Lacrosse … The 10 freshmen hail from six different states, including North Carolina and Texas.
