Quinn Headed to AT&T National Diving Championships

DURHAM, N.C. - Sophomore Kirby Quinn of Cherry Hill, N.J., competed at the 2014 USA Diving National Preliminary Zone B Championships this past weekend in Coral Springs, Fla.
Quinn and partner Kristen Hayden earned a spot in the women's synchronized 3-meter springboard final after finishing fifth (215.94) in the preliminary round. The duo went on to place third (223.74) in the final, advancing them to the 2014 AT&T National Diving Championships in Knoxville, Tenn., August 12-17.
Quinn also competed in the individual 1-meter and 3-meter springboard preliminary rounds.
As a freshman at Duke last season, Quinn won the 3-meter event twice during the regular season and qualified to compete in all three disciplines at the 2014 NCAA Zone B Diving Championships.
