DURHAM, N.C. – From Thursday to Monday, it was a full weekend of Duke football that provided plenty of highlights. The current Blue Devil squad improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the ACC with a 9-7 victory against Boston College on Saturday. Former Duke standouts now in the NFL also provided memorable moments during the weekend as one made his NFL debut Sunday and two others had career-best performances.

Ross Cockrell
Former Blue Devil safety Cockrell intercepted his first career pass and recovered his first career fumble during the Pittsburgh Steelers' 23-20 overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.

Duke Defeats Boston College
Senior kicker Ross Martin accounted for all nine of Duke's points to lead the Blue Devils to a hard-fought 9-7 ACC football victory on a rainy afternoon on Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.

Vincent Rey
Former Duke linebacker Rey led the Bengals with 15 total tackles, including one for lost yardage as Cincinnati earned a 36-21 victory against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bengals are now 4-0 and one of six undefeated teams in the NFL.
