Duke Set to Face Florida in NCAA Sweet 16 in Gainesville, Fla... After advancing to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the sixth time over the last eight years, the third-seeded and 19th-ranked Duke women's soccer team (12-5-4) will take on second-seeded and fifth-ranked Florida (19-3-1) Sunday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m., at Donald R. Dizney Stadium in Gainesville, Fla.
The match Sunday will be aired live on SEC Network+. Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for children (12 and under), students and senior citizens.
In the Rankings... Duke is currently ranked No. 20 in the NSCAA and No. 19 in the Soccer America polls, while being listed No. 18 in the TopDrawerSoccer.com ledger. Florida is listed No. 5 in the NSCAA and TopDrawerSoccer.com and No. 8 in the Soccer America polls.
Duke in Gainesville... Duke is playing in Gainesville, Fla., in the NCAA Tournament for the second time over the last six years. In 2010, the Blue Devils defeated California, 2-1, in the NCAA Tournament first round before taking down host Florida, 4-2, in penalty kicks in the second round.
Florida and Duke also met in the 2013 NCAA Tournament second round with the Blue Devils taking down the Gators, 1-0, in Durham, N.C.
Overall, the Blue Devils have totaled a 4-3 record in games played in Gainesville, Fla., including the NCAAs.
A Look at Florida... Florida enters Sunday's match with a 19-3-1 overall record and winners of 11 straight matches. The Gators have notched a mark of 7-1-1 at home this season.
On the year, Florida has been led by Savannah Jordan with 24 goals and seven assists, while Brooke Sharp (11 goals) and Christen Westphal (13 assists) have featured strong seasons.
The Series with Florida... Duke and Florida will meet for the third time since 2010 in the NCAA Tournament and the second time in Gainesville, Fla. In the 2010 NCAA second round, the Blue Devils advanced with a 4-2 penalty kick victory after finishing the match with a 0-0 ledger in Gainesville. Duke then totaled a 1-0 win in the NCAA second round in 2013 over the Gators in Durham, N.C.
Overall, Florida leads the series with a 6-4-2 mark. In matches played in Gainesville, Duke is 1-3-1.
Duke Versus the SEC... Blue Devils Advancing... The Blue Devils advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 for the 11th time in school history and the eighth time over the last 12 years.
The Blue Devils' seven appearances in the NCAA Final 16 over the last nine years ranks tied third overall -- Florida State (9), Stanford (9), Virginia (9), North Carolina (8), Duke (7), Duke (7) and UCLA (7).
Duke is one of 10 teams that have advanced to the NCAA second round five or more times out of the last six years -- Stanford (6), Florida State (6), Texas A&M (6), Virginia (6), Florida (6), Penn State (6), Notre Dame (6), North Carolina (6), UCLA (5) and Duke (5).
Blue Devil Clean Sheets... Duke has now collected 13 shutouts on the season, which is the most since the 2011 campaign (16). It is also tied for the second most in school history.
The Blue Devils have notched three straight shutouts for the third time this year. Duke has allowed only two goals during the last eight matches.

Allen Collects First Goal of 2015 in NCAAs... After missing last season due to injury, redshirt sophomore
Malinda Allen came through big time against FGCU with her first goal of the 2015 campaign.
She finished off a free kick from
Casey Martinez in the second half, which marked her second collegiate goal. Allen has played in 20 matches this season and had one start in the midfield.

Taylor Racioppi and Florida's Savannah Jordan competed on the U.S. U-20 World Cup squad.

Christina Gibbons played on the same club team from CASL as Betsy Middleton of Florida. Gibbons also played this past year with Claire Falknor and Savannah Jordan on the U.S. U-23 National Team.
Gibbons and Jordan also represented the U.S. on the 2014 U.S. U-20 World Cup squad that competed in Canada.
Martinez Gets Start... With
Imani Dorsey out with an injury, sophomore
Casey Martinez got the start at forward against FGCU. The start was the second of her career and first of the season. She led Duke with three shots, including two on goal and notched an assist on the game-winning tally.
Duke in the NCAA Tournament... The Blue Devils have reached the big show for the 12th time out of the last 13 years and the 21st time in school history. Duke has advanced to the second round of the tournament in 12 out of the last 13 appearances.
The Blue Devils hold an overall record of 28-18-8 in tournament play and advanced to the NCAA Championship match in 2011 before falling to Stanford, 1-0.
Over the last four appearances in the NCAA Tournament, Duke has outscored its opponents, 40-13.
