Setting the Scene The 14th-ranked Duke women's basketball team (2-1) will close a three-game homestand Sunday, Nov. 22 as the Blue Devils host Army West Point (3-0) at 2 p.m., in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Sunday's contest will be aired live on Blue Devil Network+ via GoDuke.com. It will also be carried live on the Blue Devil IMG Sports Network on WDNC 620 AM, 99.3 FM, 96.5 FM and GoDuke.com with Steve Barnes (PXP) and Morgan Patrick (Color) on the air. One lucky Duke student will earn $1,000 as the craziest fan so make sure come out and get loud!
The Location The doors to Cameron Indoor Stadium open 60 minutes prior to tipoff. Parking The following lots are considered General Public parking lots for Women's Basketball: Blue Zone Lots, Chemistry Lot, Parking Garage IV (PG4). There is no charge for parking in the Blue Zone Lots or Chemistry Lot. Game day parking in PG4 costs $5 per vehicle. General Public Parking for Persons with Disabilities is available in the Science Drive Visitor's Lot located off of Science Drive.
A Look at Army West Point Army enters the weekend with a 3-0 overall record coming off three home wins. Kelsey Minato has paced Army with a 25.7 scoring average, while Aimee Oertner (11.3) is also averaging double-digit scoring.
Duke Versus the Patriot League Duke owns a 10-0 record all-time against teams from the Patriot League -- American (1-1), Boston University (2-2), Bucknell (1-1), Holy Cross (4-4), and Loyola Md. (2-2). Coach P has totaled a 16-4 record against teams from the Patriot League -- Boston University (14-4), Bucknell (2-0).
At Home This Season In two games at home, Duke's All-America candidates Rebecca Greenwell and Azurá Stevens have been leading the way for the Blue Devils. Stevens is averaging 15.0 points, 15.0 rebounds, 6.0 blocks and 1.5 steals. Greenwell is averaging 19.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists. Stevens has also swatted 12 shots the last two games.
500 Point Mark With her 17 points against Winthrop, Rebecca Greenwell reached the 500-point mark. Azurá Stevens hit her first shot of the Texas A&M contest to move past the 500-point mark as well. Both players have done this in their second year with the Blue Devils.
