Scottie Montgomery Talks Cutcliffe, ECU, Bowl Prep

DURHAM, N.C. – Whether it was snagging passes over the middle, aligning wide receivers or calling the perfect play, Scottie Montgomery has left his mark at Duke, on the program's record books and in the hearts of those he has worked with during his time in Durham. Montgomery will coach his final game with the Blue Devils December 26 at the New Era Pinstripe Bowl before taking over as head coach at East Carolina University.
Blue Devil Network's Dave Harding caught up with Montgomery before heading to New York City for the bowl contest and discussed the role of head coach David Cutcliffe as a mentor for Montgomery, the impact Duke has had on Montgomery and what he looks forward to about the East Carolina opportunity.
Duke kicks off in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl against Indiana at 3:30 p.m. with the contest being televised on ABC .
